This is my most popular workshop. I offer it in 4,6 or 8 hour versions. Unlimited number of students as long as there is enough room for everyone to sew and enough irons.

This class is designed to help students power through their stash and be very efficient in the creation of their quilts. Not only will the basic quilt be taught but Maria will bring in samples of other designs that can be made from the left-over materials.

In the 4 hour class most students leave with the top for a soldier quilt done or nearly so. In the 8 hour class they leave with 3 tops done and one or more quilted. This method adapts itself well to making larger quilts in the same amount of time as well and how to do that will also be discussed and shown.
